Eagles vs Falcons Live

Eagles vs Falcons Live: The 2021 NFL season has arrived, and the Philadelphia Eagles kick off Week 1 with a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

The season opener will mark the 33rd time that the two teams have met. Despite the Eagles leading the all-time series with a 17-14-1 record, the Falcons have won their last three games against the Eagles at home.

Nick Sirianni will make his head coaching debut against another first-year head coach in Arthur Smith.

After a miserable start to the 2020 season, one-time Pro Bowl quarterback Carson Wentz was benched early in the season. Following a strenuous season that ended with Wentz being traded to the Indianapolis Colts, Jalen Hurts was officially announced as the starting quarterback for the 2021 season.

The second-year quarterback will attempt to cement his role as Philadelphia’s franchise player.

Here is what you need to know ahead of the Eagles’ first game of the season:

There are several intriguing storylines from the debut of Head Coach Nick Sirianni, Jalen Hurts taking over at quarterback, and the new-look defense just to name a few.
